Amicus

Overview

The Center for Law & Religious Freedom advances the Center's mission by submitting amicus curiae ("friend of the court") briefs in cases involving important religious freedom issues. Through amicus briefs, the Center helps courts to understand the legal principles at stake and urges the courts to protect religious liberty. In preparing amicus briefs, the Center often works with respected law professors, major law firms, and other non-profit organizations dedicated to protecting religious liberty.
